GoIndiGo, the soon to be launched low-fare airline promoted by InterGlobe Enterprises, has joined forces with eSpherical.com, Inc. to provide mobile airline booking and payment for its customers with GPRS-capable mobile phones or mobile PDA’s. This move will surely enhance its position in the E-travel market due to the reach of mobile phones as compared to internet connections in India.
The mobile booking service is available at http://mobile.goindigo.in. This service will not only allows customers to book and pay for flights, but also enables them to check for flight information. Customers can pay for their booked tickets within 24 hours at a number of convenient locations.
The software enabling this enhanced service is being developed, deployed and supported by eSpherical.com Inc., a leading IT solutions provider based in the United States.
