The success of google adwords has started a trend which is now having its effect in India as well. Ad networks by indian run companies. Recently an article in StreamingMedia talked about the launch of MediaEstate.com India’s Major Online Ad Network. This company is Delhi based company and both publishers and advertisers can sign up and start serving text as well and banner ads. I also did a little research on other Indian Ad networks and found that there are many indian players that are mushrooming in the ad network space. Sulekha.com has its own ad network where as there is something called AdsforIndian.com which is also another ad network. But from all the ad networks that i checked out i was very interested in Tyroo which is owned and promoted by Quasar the Interactive Agency based in Delhi. The Ad network seems to be in beta stage but looks very promising as it has names like indiatimes, webdunia.com, makemytrip.com and many other big internet giants.

hey, rediff by itself is also a growing ad network.. it should soon open up to other mediums other than displaying ads on its own portal..
Hey Shamata thanks for that.. Im sorry i missed mentioning Rediff Pay4Clicks. Infact Im a big fan of Pay4Clicks myself but at this stage its not in the ad network mode its more like classifieds but you are right they would be pushing towards the ad network direction. Then one could also speculate about two more websites click.in and indianclassifieds.com to start networks once they get paid users for their classifieds
