Cleartrip launches first campaign on Yahoo Homepage

Cleartrip which launched in beta mode on 4th July has launched its first campaign on Yahoo.co.in homepage. The campaign communication objective seems to be very focussed on building cleartrip as the simplest to use travel booking site. The campaign has the tagline "Travel bookings as simple as ABC!" where A = Airlines B = Bookings and C = Cleartrip. Well the initial campaign seems to have done the trick as far as im concerned. I expect a lot of struggle for cleartrip as and when yatra.com which is funded by giants like Reliance Capitals and TV18 launches its travel portal. India has generally been more receptive to hindi domain names for eg: shaadi.com and naukri.com but this could well change in the future if cleartrip does better than yatra.com.
