Indiatimes travel is everywhere be it billboards be it bus stands and would believe it??? Rediff.com!! I couldn’t believe my eyes when i saw http://travel.indiatimes.com being advertised on Rediff.com homepage. Conventional wisdom told me i must be dreaming! Because as far as i know both rediff and indiatimes are out to prove to advertisers that they are India’s largest website in terms of visitors. But seeing indiatimes travel on rediff.com made two things very clear. 1) Rediff.com is the top Indian website 2) Indiatimes is on an aggressive or make that over aggressive push in the internet market ( both for travel and timesjobs.com ) It also made it clear that if you have the money you can buy anything even your competitors home page banner! Well it remains to be seen how successful travel as a sector proves on the internet as my earlier blog mentioned its gonna be one helluva crowded place!
