Sify launched the paid version A3India.com a MMORPG A Massive(ly) Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game after testing the beta version fopr sometime. This move from Sify comes at the right time as it directly puts it in competition with Indiatimes which is promoting the International MMORPG Ragnarok on the indiatimes gaming microsite a game by Levelupgames.co.in. Levelupgames have been in India since sometime now but have really not been able to make a massive impact though the game has been reasonably popular. Sify looks to be in a better position to fully penetrate such a game to the masses due to its large chain of Cybercafe’s accross India. So the battle seems to be more outside the game (Sify Vs Indiatimes) rather than within the game.
