Nokia launches infomercial Learnnew.in

Nokia launched its infomercial campaign (Information & advertising combined) in the form of a website named www.learnnew.in on the rediff home page expandable banner and simultaneously on MSN messenger. The website is clearly targetting the high end user and educating him about the tons of features that a nokia N series has to offer. though the site claims to be more for existing nokia N series users i feel the impact would be more on non Nokia N series users who would be itching to buy the Nseries phone after going through its features. What nokia has done is a trend that is catching on very fast in the interactive advertising world called "Brand MicroSite". There are many such examples available now Clinic All Clear has www.makeyourmoves.com , Lowtobac has www.lowtobaclife.com , globus has www.gix.in and sunsilk has www.sunsilkgangofgirls.com . But the first such campaign that i heard was really successful was one by HSBC that was homeloandisorder.com currently the site is not functional as the campaign is over but it was a truly classic online microsite driven campaign which im sure got HSBC large number of leads.
